Heather has over 18 years of experience in the fields of organization and leadership development with a background in leadership coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution, as well as leadership training design and delivery. Her coaching clients include both emerging and experienced leaders who want to cultivate their leadership presence and access their potential to deliver key
organizational results. Heather works with leaders and their teams in business, health care, the federal government, law firms, and the non-profit sector. Heather weaves her expertise in organization development and effectiveness throughout her coaching engagements, coaching leaders toward greater self-awareness and skill in managing relationships, developing strategic focus, influencing positively, effective communication, and conflict resolution. With just the right blend of both heart and backbone, Heather challenges her clients to truly see themselves and align their leadership habits and behaviors with their core values and their intentions. Heather views her clients as resourceful and her relationship with them as a partnership. She engages her clients in a dynamic coaching and learning experience

An avid runner and mindfulness meditation practitioner, Heather introduces her clients to leadership concepts and best practices that encourage resilience and well-being. Her clients articulate measurable development goals and take bold actions that serve their goals and deepen their satisfaction in their leadership role.
Education. Heather is a certified leadership coach accredited by the International Coach Federation and was trained through the Coaches Training Institute . She also holds a somatic coach certification through The Strozzi Institute. She graduated from Georgetown University and holds a Master’s Degree in Organization Development from the American University/NTL program as well as a graduate certificate in Conflict Resolution from George Mason University. Heather trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction with Jon Kabat-Zinn. She is a trained professional mediator and is certified in the following leadership and team development tools: The Leadership Circle Profile 360 Assessment and Culture Survey; the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator; the EQ-I Inventory for Emotional Intelligence; Bridge’s Managing Change & Transition; DiSC; the Highlands Abilities Battery; the Strengths Deployment Inventory; and, Resilient Leadership.
